Intro

This two-piece (18 and 16 mm) pole has an aluminum upper and carbon-fiber lower section and, more importantly, an elongated (38 cm), round grip in molded foam with multiple sections in the lower portion. In addition to these distinctive traits, the Duos Freebird has a nicely flexible, 90 millimeter basket (with integrated BC logo) that adapts well to changing slope and snow conditions, along with a solid, aluminum Power Lock 3.0 mechanism to adjust the length. It also has a simple but ergonomic wrist strap. Lightweight, efficient and definitely distinctive.
