Intro

These Colltex full-mohair skins are a true classic, offering a good mix of softness, glide, grip and durability. The fabric base is dense but thin, and is sheered short for more agile skiers. They're also more balanced under lightweight touring skis than their Tödi skins. These skins are for real connoisseurs and offer the same general characteristics (connectors, adhesive) as Tödi, with good grip and decent glide. In testing, they glided slightly worse than the Tödi skins, but within an acceptable range for touring use (and they performed best on cold, dry snow).
