    In words

    Intro
    The upgrade of the minimalist GR 48 with the classic Grizzly lateral toe pin entry; it meets ISMF standards for race use and comes with brake as standard. It has a slightly more robust heel piece than the GR 48, and a pre-set release value of 8 or 10, to be chosen at time of purchase. The crampon slot is included, making the GR 98 ideal for light touring on light skis. Version II (the one we tried) has a 10 mm adjustment track under the heel piece. There is one 33 mm climbing aid.
